Hey all! Lots going on now.
short version:
Our house was broken into on last friday. The laptop, camcorder, dig. camera, handgun, various cd's, dvd's, and games were taken along with my son's bike. He saved $200 of his christmas and b-day money to buy it himself. (angry)
We've had the whole police, insurance and bank experience because the crackhead also stole a book of new checks and made one out to himslef for $500. The bank cashed it without so much as a phone call to us. However, they refunded the $500 when we checked on things and we have recieved our money from the insurance co.
The stupid coked-up criminal tried to pass off another check at the same bank 4 days later and they called the police. He was long gone when they got there.
They had warrants out for him from 2001 and he served time in a Milan,Ga prison for coke possesion and shoplifting.
Good news today: he was arrested and sent to jail. We go to court on Monday.
Horribly, the night it happened, we watched American History X . He "fucked with the wrong bull".
We did most of the research ourselves, for him, about him, etc. We checked with pawn shops, Ga corrections website, whitepages.com, etc. and reported our findings to the police to keep them on their toes. It worked The squeaky wheel does get the grease.
So tonite we went shopping to replace some of the things he took and we hope to maybe get some things back, like the gun. It was a retired service weapon from the 80's when my dad was an officer. It has a little sentimental value.
Anyhoo, things have been quite shitty for a while and hope to see a bit of sunshine soon.
I did get a B on my paper. I got an A on my first test and dropped the extra 3rd class I had at nite...whew!
I was trying to graduate sooner but I don't mind one more semester, now. I'll be patient and keep it at a bearable pace.
What a long entry
I'll go to bed now, gotta work tomorrow.
