Walking through Trastevere ๐Ÿ’š Trastevere is a characteristic district of Rome, made up of small houses and narrow alleys. It has these buildings with pastel colored facades, often totally covered with climbing plants. I am very attached to it emotionally, as a boy I spent whole days there. It was once a very popular area in the heart of Rome, then little by little between tourism and gentrification it lost its popular and genuinely Roman soul. However, something remains of its old atmosphere and it is still nice to walk through its alleys and squares.
