It's Christmas Day, and I have just got in from a day working with the street homeless. I find working preferable to sitting at home alone - both my daughters have grown up and moved away, and - apart from my very elderly mother, who lives across the border in England and who sleeps most of the time! - i don't have a lot of other family alive.

I don't come in here so often - not that many will notice (just you probably SillyK ! x), as I have sussed that my age, my humour and my lack of an interesting drug habit make me less interesting. I was probably a bad idea, at a low moment anyway.

Regardless, I wish anyone who reads this (that'll be just you again Silly!) a very merry Christmas, a joyful holiday period and a peaceful and prosperous new year in 2012 :-) x
