Just got back from a 2 hour night hike with two of my friends. We went up the Quicksilver train where they used to mine mercury in the late 1800's. Some of the old mines are still up there. It basically a small concrete room with a tiny hole to get inside through.
So we crawled inside and smoke a couple bowls and chilled in this mine for a little bit. There was terrible graffiti all over. One said, "The state of the system is the system of the state". I Didn't really understand that one.
Then we continued to follow the trail up hill for half a mile and when we reached the to you can see most of the city.We decided to smoke there. Then we kept hiking down the trail further. Further into the trails we saw a few toads and some deer. The sky was clear and the stars and moon were really bright. It was a great night for a hike.
This is the mine we went inside of.
This is what the trail looks like during the day
