I'm fostering a 10-week-old puppy for the next few days. It's unbelievable how much energy and attention this requires. I turn my back for a minute, and she's already peed on the carpet, chewed something up, and spilled something. Looking back on puppies I've had in the past, it's all coming back to me: puppies aren't fun, they're an enormous pain in the ass and a lot of work. It's just something you go through to get a good dog.

I just got home from another track meet. Low and behold, there was a package from Surrey waiting for me!! YOU FUCKING ROCK!! That is just what the doctor ordered! It came in a wood box with compartments for the glasses and spoons. Soooo cool. Thanks man. (Is that a gift or did I ask you to do that? Just let me know and I'll cut a check!)

I couldn't help but check out the thread that 40spokes was talking about. Looks like you're at it again, eh? Good for you. I wonder if those people really realize who they are messing with? Jesus . . . I'm just glad you're on my team. If you ever get zotted I'll buy you a new membership.
