I'm hella behind on this Journal. That's what LJ is for, I guess.
Short version: I went to Infrazone's brother's wedding last weekend in Tampa. It's at the same church, etc... as ours will be, so I got a really good idea of what to expect. We picked up our marriage license while we were down there. and the weather was nice.
After writing a few tracks and checking out Contempt Live early in the week, I was blocked in the studio for 3 days solid with John Barry and Don Black, recording demos for their new musical. I hate musicals, as a rule. But hearing these songs without the context is actually kind of interesting. Of course, I'm not looking forward to mixing them tonight. Maybe if I was getting paid for that....
Also, kudos to Siara for getting her site up!
