Today was the kinda day that makes me thankful for the the geniuses that created caffeinated gum.

I revised one track and wrote another 2 variations on it. Good melody. It may be a signature theme for a major auto brand. Who knows? That shit can change with the wind. I had my favorite cellist come in. I need to pick that instrument up again. Maybe if I get more space.

The day was broken up by the search for the last-minute things I need for this weekend. Like mustache wax. Go ahead. Laugh.
I was also freaked because my custom-made pirate shirt was supposed to arrive (at my PO box thing) by noon. and it didn't. So, I spent more than the shirt costs to rent a (crappy as hell) shirt. Of course, my shirt arrived then. But I was barely able to make it out of work in time to get there. But it rocks!

Speaking of pirates, I'm outta here tomorrow morning to head to the Gasparilla Pirate Fest in Tampa. I get to be a "guest" pirate. and damn I look good! There'll be pictures taken, I'm certain. I'll share when we return on Monday. Don't anyone do anything too interesting in the meantime.

Yeah, I'll miss the SG Burlesque tour because of it. But I'm still kinda smarting over not being picked to open.
