We reveal so much about ourselves, give away our secrets because they’re just words on a screen. White on black, text with no feeling or emotion. We hide behind our monitors, slowly losing the ability to communicate with each other on a personal level.
I've noticed this a lot with dating lately. Everyone wants to give up so much of who they are online and when you finally meet there's nothing left to figure out. There's no mystery left, no puzzle to solve. Sitting across from you is just this flat representation of the person they claim to be online. No one uses real old fashioned seduction anymore, it's all laid out like words on a resume that no one wants to read. I'm glad I've found myself a man that loves a bit of mystery and refuses to give up who he is via text.

Agreed on that! No mysteries or fun in discovering people anymore :(
