hey there everybody! sorry i've been out of the loop lately.... work has me very busy, but very happy. i love my new job and everyone i work with, it's very cool.
also cool is that i have a new roommate, whom i really really like... and it is... drumroll please.... Vuokko
so we've been getting to know each other (we didn't know each other at all before) and she's definitely a cool person to live with! thank you SG for connecting me with a wonderful roommate!
so my new set has been sent in, i think a few weeks ago, but who knows when it will go live, it tends to take forever... oh well, the waiting game... you have other suicidegirls to bide your time with until then.
so last night i went to this show called Absinthe and i really enjoyed it, i so rarely actually DO things in NYC since i've moved here (being a student i had a serious lack of money and time) but now that i work i have money, some time, and the job hooks me up with perks like free tickets to this show and open bar. so me and a coworker got pretty trashed and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly... i even got a guy's number, but unfortunately i barely remember what he looks like (remember kids, there's really no reason to drink that much!) i do remember in my drunken state thinking he was cute though, but i probably wasn't looking so hot!
anyway, keep it real out there in SG land! i'll keep you posted as life progresses...
