Sunday April The Fourth
Today's Storys:
-Invisible Lawrence
-A Report from the War Room
But First, a news update
Its been a wasted weekend here, I think I litterally did Nothing yesterday, well, Except mess with my profile, read journals, and the like. I'm still wondering why I have to have 5 favorite SG's,.. Not that its a hard thing to have 5 (quite the contrary actually), Its just that as a new member I was going about it adding them as I browsed, and soon discovered it won't save your choices unless you have 5, and only 5, no more, no less. Oh well. I definatly have at least 5 now (The most recent being the amazingly beautiful and enthralling MaryJane, wow... ^_^) Well anyway, On with the news.
Invisible Lawrence, 1.01
- An Ongoing feature describing hidden and forgoten nooks and crannys of this strange midwest town.
The Idea to document the hidden facets of Lawrence came to me two years ago, as I wandered around campus, in an altered state no doubt. The area around Potter Pond er Lake is chock full of strange abandoned/forgotten? structures if you take your time and look closely, Most noteably behind the treeline, along the stone wall roughly behind strong hall and the research library. There are a few entrances to the underground tunnel along Potter Lake as well, One being on the West side of the slope that leads down to the pond, Late at night there is very little that could be more creepy than standing in front of that rusty metal door, listening to the strange clinking of a chain against something and the whirring of whatever machines are in there. In latter edditions of this I'll reveal the hidden stairs and bring to light secret campgrounds used for dark fraternity rituals*.
I've Uploaded a few pictures of Not-So-Invisible-Lawrence as well. Including a picture of 'The Pioneer' statue, And this cool stone archway at the bottom of some stairs tucked between some scholarship halls.
A Report from the War Room:
Good Evening Gentelmen and Women, as you may know our forces have been laying siege to the defences of a beautiful and intriguing woman. Tonnight I report that our recent efforts in the offencive have started to yield results, encounters with ******** have increased over the last week and a half, and opposing forces who previously occupied "the city" have been expelled as a result of internal issues, the time will soon come when the hammer shall fall and in the upcoming days we shall see victory and the scourge of singledom clensed from our halls, or we shall make strategic withdraw to save our efforts and wooing for another.
{A Transcript of a report given by Commander Philosotech of the Forward Gaurd, Romeo Company to the 'Pursuit of a significant other' Commission}
Oh right, I almost forgot, Shes comming over tonnight. I'm really into her, but so far she has kinda advoided the issue, I've brought it up and taken her out but,. eh well. whatever. We'll see.
