Well, the Bloods didn't win the grand final. Originally I thought it was a good game, but now I think about it, it really wasn't THAT good a game. Especially for a Grand Final. It was only good because of the score line, not because of the quality of play. I mean, yes - towards the end both teams were just getting desperate for it, obviously the Swans because they wanted to make it up and the Eagles because they wanted to hold on. It makes you realise that there is a very very fine line between really scrappy footy and really brilliant footy.
MSC is going to win the Shanghai Grand Prix though (I'm watching it, with 13 laps to go - + I looked at live timing earlier). Kimi is out. I'm glad that Michael is going to win. He'll share the podium with the Renault drivers - Alonso and Fisichella. How brilliant must that feel. I'm glad that (even though we didn't know it at the time) I was there to see Schui's last race in Melbourne. At least I saw him race in his last season. I've never been a HUGE Schui fan, obviously, but you have to respect what the man does with a car. I didn't really look becasue I felt a little guilty sneaking at live timing, but I assume that Alonso takes second. That means they are on equal points now. It really shows how much a set of tyres can affect your race.
I watched the Rugby League Final between the Melbourne Storm and the Brissy Broncos. The Bronco's won, and I think I came to understand R.L a little bit more than I did before (at least I have realised that it's so diffucult to understand because it's such a damn simple game)
Work this weekend was pretty boring. Next friday is Penny and Rene's wedding. Broke my horns. Hate all boys, and have become even more bitter and twisted than I was beforehand.
I blame you.
xxoo.
