I am going to have a heart attack. I was already feeling anxious tonight and then the following happened. We have a couple of mice right now that we are trying to get rid of. They don't come out often and run when the kitchen light is turned on. I turned it on and waited a moment, walked up to the sink for some water, and out of nowhere one ran across the counter, bounced off my chest, on to the floor where I almost stepped on it, and into the cabinet.

humane mouse traps
these are the ones we got and they worked well.. you just have to be patient.. and remember that mice are noctournal so your best chances for capture are at night. and sometimes if the mouse is small, you may need to add weight into the trap (like a nickle) to help it spring when mickey or minnie show up. as for bait, you kind of have to experiment. dry crackers didn't work for our guests. i think we rocked peanutbutter or ? dunno.
good luck with the houseguests.. xoxo
at least you don't have rats...
