I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks so much to everyone who has liked my set, sent me nice messages, commented on my first blog post, and just generally been very awesome and welcoming. You've made my slightly awkward ass feel right at home and made me feel less nervous about posting things!
(In retrospect I don't know why I felt nervous about it, I literally write for a living, but the weird intersection of personal, me-as-a-human content with pictures of my ass is still a, uh, combination I'm in the process of working out.)
I'm still getting the lay of the land and all, but I'll take a sec to say that if you haven't seen my set yet, here it is (and also give a lil hopeful tag to @missy and @rambo as, let's be honest, I'd love to turn pink!)
This is probably my other favorite SFW photo from the shoot, aside from the cover...I kept joking to @ayah that it was going to be hard to choose the cover photo, since all my favorites are the veeeeery NSFW ones! Fun fact, I am literally wearing those socks at this moment.
(I guess this one is SFW too...depending on your work. Maybe you make bras for a living and it's very standard fare. Who am I to assume?)
Oh, and Ayah mentioned this in her blog post, but the title of the set was from Cherry by Lana Del Rey (as is my handle on here)...so there was no actual wine (or cherries) consumed because it was, uh, before noon. (I thought about getting some champagne, aka morning wine, but I hadn't been in France very long and I was still a little nervous about going into stores and buying things.) I just find her music the sexiest and love her to death. But anyway—that was the reference there!
Anyway—I'm planning to post some blog homework soon ish, or more general carrying-on. Thanks for being a rad, welcoming bunch of humans.
