So I went to what passes for an electronics store here yesterday to try and get a cam. I asked the sales person for one. He brings back a digital camera. I tell him "no, a web cam that I can hook to a computer." He tells me you can hook the digital camera up to your computer to d/l the pics. I couldn't decide if I should be angry that he doesn't even know what a web cam is or if I should just laugh. The joys of little town.

You can always take a series of pictures of yourself and create an animated gif. Still, you might want to make it simple enough to consider those out there still operating on 56k.
