Ummm..... someone just tried to break into the house I am in. Alone. I am totally stressed out and can't stop shaking even tho nothing happened. Someone knocked on the door, since it isn't my house i didn't answer. I heard noises, and walked down to check it out, and someone was trying to jimmy the door open, they had something in through the door frame trying to work it open. I called out and they ran off. The police are coming to check it out, I feel like a loser for being this scared... actually no I don't. Fuck.

My interview went pretty well. I'm heading out to NY at the end of May to meet more people from his company and others. This guy is now a major advocate of mine, which is awesome, so even if he doesn't have anything available for me he's setting me up with a bunch of other people who might. Yay!

Miracle of miracles, the new Visa category for Aussies is like my dream come true. It makes it so much easier for Australians to come and work in the States, and it even has a provision for spouses to work too. So sweet.

4 weeks left in Chicago
4 weeks til I land in Athens
4 weeks til the start of the next phase of my life
8 weeks til I see my family again
9 weeks til my brother's wedding
12 weeks til I start my NY life

Which reminds me, I need to find a reading for my brother's wedding. Now. Shit! I totally forgot about it! Any suggestions?? It can be religious or not, pretty but not mushy. There is a Dante quote I love, but I would have to spend a lot of time creating a reading around it.. not sure if I am creative enough to do them justice, so I may stick to one that's already done.

Anyway....

I'm really questioning my 'friendships' at the moment, I have a feeling a detox on my life is in order.
