It's hard work watching a relationship break up in front of you, especially when there is a kid involved. It's a harsh bittersweet feeling watching my niece playing happily on the floor while her fate is being decided over shouted phone conversations, while the noise level in the house is hushed whenever the words "custody" and "lawyers" are mentioned. The gorgeous baby girl with the most amazing smile i've ever seen isn't oblivious to the changes happening around her, and it's sad that as she is learning to become a person, to walk and talk, she must also learn about heartbreak and her parents tears.
Blah... i hope for a happy day sometime soon so i can write a happy journal.
