What a lovely Summer afternoon... The air is filled with a warm scent, a sweet scent... Does it make you dizzy as well?
Summer has a different colour, everything gets brighter. The blue skies, the dense atmosphere, the cozy warmth on your skin... This warmth is almost solid, you feel like you can almost touch it somehow. Its presence is a constant on Summer afternoons, such as today's.
We're surrounded by silence, but at the same time all Nature is speaking volumes. Can you listen to the cicada? It's singing a soft and calm lullaby for our lazy outdoor nap.
Oh, no, don't sleep just now... Let me show you my secret.
It's a very well-kept secret, hidden in plain sight. The secret that I carry will dance under the blue Summer skies, bathed in sunlight. It's made of sun and flowers. When this afternoon is over, my secret will be down with the golden sunset. I'll just pray that you can keep it safe too.
When I'm totally honest with you, all you can see is that avoir un coeur d'artichaut.
My heart is now open to you, just like an artichoke you've removed all the leaves and the centre is totally exposed. Take good care of it, because it's dangerous to be a hopeless romantic, to be soft, and vulnerable.

Hey, SGLand! Tomorrow (at midnight of Friday to Saturday PST!) my new set will reach Members Review, and I really hope you like it! This little tale is all about the pics, just to set the mood for them, so you can understand the title (which is a French expression for 'hopeless romantic', but literally means 'to have an artichoke heart').
