Today I've told myself I'm pretty.
No, I did a bit more than that...
Today I've said that I don't need to have my hair or my nails done, to put make up on, to dress up.
Today I've looked at myself through the mirror, and said:
'you're pretty, even when you don't comb your hair,
and with dark circles around your eyes'.
Today I have done for myself something no one could ever have.
Today I've loved myself.
Today I've told myself I'm pretty.
Have you ever loved yourself? In crazy quarantine times, I've been in touch with a part of me that needed to be loved by no one other than me. And it's comforting when it's reciprocate. I hope you can have the strength to do it too. It was very uplifting for me. I've never done that before. We all have many insecurities... Sometimes we just can't let our guard down, and can't accept that we don't have to follow a pattern to be whole.
COME ON!
