Well I should really be writing my weekly student teaching reflection and making a lesson because I won't have much time to do it tomorrow due to a karate tournament. but. guess what I'm doing instead?? yeah. writing my good friend Kim a comment. hehe.

Either there's no one like that around here or I'm just hangin with the wrong crowd.

myspace evil, eh? do I sense bad blood and falling out with a possible former special person? that's a rhetorical question. but I enjoy how on myspace you can peruse through bands and music without having to pay anything. but SOME DAY I'll have to check out this limewire. The main reason I haven't so far is that, uhm, I'm lazy. heh.

Y'know, I actually did this poster project thing in college where I presented statistics and reasons for the decline in average sperm count in men. I didn't make a huge sperm out of cardboard, though. perhaps I should have. and drawn sunglasses on him or something.

Have you ever seen Old Boy? It's a Korean movie and it is just...I dunno. I dunno how to describe it. brutal? yeah. I don't want to give too much of it away, but a guy breaks out of a confinement (not exactly prison) and searches for the person who put him in there. While in his confinement he becomes a major hardass and there's a twist at the end that makes logical sense but you never see it coming. cripes. Justin Lin, the guy whose interview may still be at the bottom of this screen, is supposed to be directing a remake of it. dear lord. Not only is that a horrible idea (in my opinion), but if he gets even CLOSE to the original story, there'll probably be a moral outrage in America. AND THE STORY IS SO IMPORTANT! I'm gonna shut up about it now.

the parent/teacher conferences went relatively okay. more boring than anything, actually. but there was at least one that really touched my heart. some kids just really get the shaft...
