GI Joe was wrong, knowing isnt half the battle, its not even a third of the battle, its more like a sixteenth the rest is all bullshit and sucking someone elses cock. Although I should have taken Cobra Commanders example and tried to raise a small army and conquer the world; of course I would have to insist on better training for my troops and make sure that they could:
1) See without the aid of Coke Bottle-glasses and
2) Hit the broad side of an Aircraft Carrier before I would hire them.
CCs command staff left a lot to be desired also, so I think I would see about a little house cleaning in that arena too. I mean Destro always seemed like he would sell out the Commander if the price was right, and Dr. Mindbender, what was up with that guy. Definitely would have to enforce a uniform policy, no bare-chested science officers in my origination thank you very much.
Item number 2: If I have as much money at my disposal, Ill have to see about buying a small island in international waters and declare it Cobra Island and petition for membership in the UN. Yep other than America getting all antsy I could do what ever I wanted and suffer only UN sanctions. Hell, Im sure I could work a few deals with the Germans, French, Russians, and Chinese for weapons and the like. Take over a few small African countries and funnel the money into Cobra Enterprises and take over the world though economic might. Not sure how this plan will actually work but Im sure itll work better than sending hundreds of troops to take over Ft Knox.
And while Im at it why didnt ol CC just use the Crimson Guard more often. I mean these guys were sleepers in all walks of life right? Why not get a few in the Senate and House and they can hand over plum government contracts to C.E. and presto CC is in the White House before you can say: COBRA-LALALALALA!
Hell Im pretty sure Zartan could have pretended to be the VP and have a C.G. take out the Pres.
So from what Im seeing, Cobras lack of world dominance is due to poor planning on the part of CC and his command staff. Man that blows.
