Well the little hike went somewhat as planned, although I wasn't in the lead (I sprained my ankle playing kick ball). Yes that's right I sprianed my ankle playing kick ball. Sometimes we have family member join in on PT. On those days we do something that's not too intense (as if anything the army does is intense), usually play a sport or something. This time around it was kick ball.
This is Swanny launching one into the waitng arms of the opposing team.

and her son
So as for the "hike" more commonly called a ruck march in the army is went okay, as we're constricted on time we could only go 4.5 miles but we carried rubber-duckies (plastic m16s) and radios to simulate being in the real army...you gotta love training.
The ruck march as seen from behind. in case you're wondering why the soldiers in the back aren't wearing any gear, it's cause thier broke (injured) in some way that's why me picture is from the rear of the formation, I'm broke too.
resting on the side of the road
So as you can see we're pretty hardcore in this medevac unit.
