Me and the kid are alone again and I feel pretty low right now, but isn't that the way it's gone since I joined the army?

She's here for a few days and then she's gone again. All I know is that I wish she would stay.
I'm here for a few days then I'm gone.

I can make all kinds of excusses for the way things have gone but in truth it's all my fault and I have nobody to blame.
