My trip to Phoenix for the 4th of July was horrifying to say the least. Who knew us Tucson folk, would bring rain with us. To the point of not being able to drive back. We made it about half-way home, to Casa Grande, when the rain/dust/wind became full-force. There were about 30 cars pulled over on the side of the highway. Even trying to go 10 miles an hour felt like we were death-prone at that point. Forunate for us, we were pretty close to Love's gas station...and exited. We waited about a half an hour for the storm to cool off, but it only got worse. We ended up getting a room at the Motel 6 across the street...buying booze and arbys. What a trip. Now it's raining fucking cats and dogs down here. What the hell is going on?
