Just got back from the Matrix 2. Oh man, wow. 
I can't believe the shit people are talking on the boards, they're just geeks with absurdly high expectations. Obviously the first one was "better" (as though an objective standard for the "goodness" of an artwork exists). But it's a SEQUEL, so it's always a victim of the law of diminishing returns and unrealistic expectations.
