Finally we are getting around to dubbing and viewing the first bunch of inaugural tapes that we have for the documentary. Right now I am watching the tape that Josh and I took on the wrong side of Pen Ave. There is a lot of really shaky camera work, some of this is mine. When the project is complete you will see what I mean. We are taping the state of the union tonight and will probably cut it in with this footage. I really think that we should all be taking media production into our own hands, as well as distribution. I am hoping this piece will approach those aims. This thing will probably be aired sometime in February or March. It is about the inauguration/counter inauguration and the security around the whole affair. I am taking ideas on titles if anyone wants to drop an idea!
There are a few events going on in Cincy in the next few days, a friend has a piece up at the CAC, and there is a benefit at the Mockbee... anyone want to go?
