ill say a little something tahts on my mind that was really pissing me off.. i decided to post a topic in the hardcore music groups since thats basically all i listent to.. the thread was about hardcore bands on the warped tour this summer.. now ok.. everyone knows that the warped tour is usually only bands that are trendy pop stuff.. but i thought it was cool that bands like zao, the bled and bleeding through are going to be playing this year.. so i posted that on the hardcore group.. and fucken crist.. people went off bashing me about my thread.. for fucks sake who cares.. i was under the impression that hardcore music is a type of music thats a kinda subdivision of metal and punk combining heavy music and breakdowns and agression.. some people out there need 2 get one thing clear.. its the type of music a band plays that makes them that style of music.. not how many fans that have or how popular they become.. its not when they get signed to a major lable that they lose that status of being labled hardcore or whatever else.. someone shouldnt be judged by how many underground bands they listen to.. hell if thats the case.. if people are that concerned with a hardcore band thats just a local band at the present time then just support underground bands.. i mean doesnt a band at one point have 2 be underground before getting popular? thats where they all start at some point.. playing shows in small venues or clubs where they may have a crowd of 10 people for months at a time.. eventually they grow to become the bands that people recognize across the country.. so theres my 2 cents on that topic.. the bottom line.. hardcore music in my opinion is a type of heavy music full of agression, breakdowns etc and it doesnt matter if the band has 1 fan or 1 million fans.. its the same music regardless who or how many people listens to it.. period
