utterly disappointed in my own foolishly held onto belief that horror movies, despite who produces, directs, writes, and or endorses them have all been shit for a number of years now.
people get all psyched to see Saw and Hostel and Wolf Creek because we've all talked about it; how would you torture someone, what instraments would you use, what's the perfect crime? but none of these movies live up to the standard set in our (just mine?) heads.
i havent seen a good horror movie in about 3 years but that movie was
KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE
a 1988 ish classic. with all the recent dribble i think i'll have to retreat into the world of indy flicks and dramas mostly waitign for the few scenes within both that always display some level of something truly horrifiying
