YAY! Finally an eventful weekend.
Friday night Sarah and I went to Call the Office and saw a show. The opening band, the Creepshow, was so good I was completely satisfied and could've gone home happy. After the show we went to 181 and got drunk and danced for a while.
We met up with Sarahs friend who told us about a rave that was going on at the Annex. We ended up going there for a few hours. Some guy saw us watching his glow sticks and made us cuddle together against the speakers so he could give us an AMAZING light show. It was really great since I havent had a good night out in such a long LONG time.
The rest of the weekend was spent going shopping and starting new projects. We re-upholstered our dining room chairs and couch, and started an indoor vegetable garden. I also got some things to start making the bunny his own little adventure land. The poor little guy gets bored....and bored rabbit=rabbit getting into EVERYTHING he isnt supposed to.
I also acquired some lovely pictures from my trip to the zoo at the end of December. It was a fun adventure seeing all the animals in the snow, and taunting them with my alligator mittens.
Here is an elephant eating snow:
and some lions right before getting fed
and me taunting a monkey
a fat bird
and me making kissy-faces at an ugly fish who needs some love.

*OPETH: More Details Surface Regarding 'Live Observation' Performances - Jan. 27, 2006
Sweden's *OPETH* have revealed more information about their upcoming
special performances, dubbed *"Chronology MCMXCIV- MMV - A Live Observation By Opeth"*, which will take place in select U.S. markets on their upcoming tour. The shows, which are scheduled for New York City's Town Hall (Feb. 23), Chicago's House of Blues (March 2) and Los Angeles' Wiltern Theatre (March 14), will consist of a chronologically played setlist, starting with music from the very first record, *"Orchid"*, and ending with vibes from the latest opus, *"Ghost Reveries"*. These extended sets are exclusive to the three dates and there won't be any support bands on these nights.
*OPETH* and crew will also bring in extra
production and screens in order to try and make this the ultimate *OPETH* live experience. The band promise a very varied setlist and songs that have never been played live before. The setlist will boast no less than four songs that haven't been performed on American soil and several others that haven't been played for years.
*OPETH* will launch the much-anticipated second stage of their *Ghost Reveries Tour* in North America, beginning on February 15 in Raleigh, NC. In tow on this outing will be *DARK TRANQUILLITY* supporting directly and *THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND* as openers in February and labelmates *DEVILDRIVER* as openers in March.
