man! there are so many summer activities out there and I can't do any of them!! Reading other peoples journals reminds me of all the things I simply never learned to do! heres a list:
1. Ride a bike...thats right I'm 18 years old and I still don't knwo how to ride a bike!
2. Swim, but I'm super scared of water so that kind of understandable, one day I'd like to get a grip and just learn.
3. Bounce a basketball.
4. Tie my shoes! I know how to do it the bunny ears way, but thats it, the other way is a unfamiliar area.
5. Hand write!....theres just no excuse
6. Do long devision! I went to school in B.C. and we hadn't gotten to it yet, when I moved to Regina Saskatchewan and they were already finished it.
7. Memorize the alphabet! sad I know, but hear me out. In B.C we learned a far different version, the order is different and so is the tune, so learning the one these rednecks use is still taking its tole.
8. Roller blade, that ones a lil more common but it still sux to not know how to!
10. Use my bankcard! lol I just don't get it...
11. Clearly I do not know how to count either!!!
12. Cook noodles, I never cook'em long enough
-sigh- one day I'll learn these things..."then I'll be a real boy"
P.S. where the hell did myJunebug go?!

Good luck on the rest of your list .
I expect by now you will have learned all the things on your list and be busily compiling a new one ............ ?
I don't cook noodles anymore (as they are all stuck to the ceiling) but my method with pasta - al dente is to heat up our stupid electric hob, switch on the kettle. Note hissing noise. Put water in the kettle & switch it back on, put the boiled water, a dash of salt & the pasta on to the hob; look at resulting mess and remember I should've used a saucepan. Repeat procedure, WITH saucepan, stir and as soon as the water returns to the boil, turn off the heat, stir again then leave for a couple of minutes. It is usually just right. But by then I've been distracted byy Jaffa cakes or some other cofection and am no longer hungry.
