You don't have to be exact on the dress if you can't afford to be or if you don't have the time, this alone makes it really simple. Just go buy a cheap witches dress and a lot of diffrent scraps of fabric, cover the dress in patches made from the scraps f fabric.. you can leave parts of the dress showing if you want or you can cover the whole thing. For her hair.. some people suggest yarn.. I used wax to make skinny fake dreads and then just used orange/red hair spray color... the effect was actually really good. Grey base makeup everywhere where skin shows... remember to use a light powder so it dosnt run or make a mess. The stickes can be done with a mechanicle eyeliner pencil or with a fine tipped paint brush and black paint. Remember that they arn't just small stickes they go all over her body and connect to each other.. she didnt have holed in her that were stiched.. she has diffrent pieces on her. Fake eyelashes really make this outfit work oddly enough. For shoes a pair of black jap-flaps work.. with rolled down knee high black and white stripped socks.
Jack:
Costuming Jack is pretty easy. Take a black evening jacket.. perferbly one with tails, but one without will work as well. (If you have tails... make them a little tatterd looking) Take piece of chalk and draw the pin-stripes on the jacket... it takes some work but the effect is GREAT very Tim Burton. And the chalk actually stays on... Do the same to a pair of black slacks. His ti actually has to be made... you can use anything from a black puff ball to a black knee-hi nylon rolled up in a ball as the base of the bat. For the wings you'll need some black fabric and iron in wire.. ask the people at the fabric store.. they can help you with it. The make up is tricky.. it all depends on if you want something realistic or if you want a jack face... realistic is normally a bit more easy and safer... the cartoon look can very easily turn out to look silly... your best bet may in fact be just to buy a Jack skellington mask.. they do sell them. If you had more time then I'd suggets making one out of paper-mache... that works REALLY well. I'd suggest a pair of black shoes or boots with the costume and if you dont want to have to paint your hands them wear black gloves.
If you have a third person its hillariouse to dress them up in a white sheet as Zero, buy a fake bone to carry around and make sure the person barks a lot... for the nose you can either glue a red ball onto the sheet or cut a nose hole in the sheet and put a clown nose on the person.
