I've had my RE back for almost 2 weeks and have come to the conclusion the first motor was a lemon. I've been torquing this one down and have taken a couple of long rides and no puddle of oil underneath, (knock wood).
It only cost me my 68' Ford F-100
On the way down to pick up the bike the fuel filter went out in Tacoma, 2 days later when I went back to pick it up gone. Impound yard in Tacoma, bad thing is by the time I order the fuel pump, it'll have been impounded for 3 weeks or so, and it would be cheaper to buy a beater truck to haul bikes and shit.

I took the metal panniers off the back of the RE and took off the front fender, It got a lot of attention at Mods vs. Rockers Seattle last Sunday I was a little shocked because there was a lot of really nice brit iron.
It doesn't matter what I do my bike won't ever draw the Betties like Marty's
