It's Alive!!

Hi there. So what have I been up to? alot of nothing. I dont have the net in my apartment so im not able to get online like id like to. Also Ive been awfully down in the dumps for a long time. still am really. Anyways Im around thought id say hi! ARRR!!!

Sorry things are rough since getting out of the army. My dad had a hard time adjusting after being in for 20+ years and having to start over. Just think though, you're in your 20's... you'r still young you can make this life anything you want it to be. ANYTHING. Life is what you make of it. So, pick something you really want to do, whether its climb mt everest, surf the pacific, or bungee jumping at the state fair and do it! life'll get better.

Well, hello there friends. How are you doin? Me? well, I finally seem to have some positive news. I got a job today. Yep, It looks like I'll be working at the Triple Xtacy ranch. No, I am NOT a dancer. who'd want to see that? I'll be floorstaff. Thank god, I needed a job, and what better than a "Gentleman's Club" smile biggrin ARRR!!!

Hey, glad to hear you're still alive. Have you tried applying for a job at best buy or circuit city. I know the starting pay at best buy is 7.50/hr for most the lower positions. I'm sure Circuit city is the same. (They are actually owned by the same company.) I just switched jobs from night shift at Target to Day shift at Wal-mart. I'm actually happy with how Wal-mart is treating me. My starting pay for day shift was the same as my night shift at Target w/ $1.00 differential pay. And in 90 days I get an automatic raise. They also have some pretty good benefits. It's a job that I know will hold me over till I finish school. I'm pretty poor right now too. I don't start school till January so I am not getting the G.I. bill yet.

Anyways, when you do get some money and want to come down and check out the Deli, let me know. I'll check and make sure it's a night that a good band is playing. Here is the Deli's Myspace page. Off the top of my head, the best bands to see play are: The Gunship; Hosty; Syke; Klipspringer; Resident Funk; and Grimy Styles. There are other good one's that play, but these are my favorites.

Sounds like you did the same thing I did when I got out of the Army. I drank all my money away. Good luck with everything and I agree, first month utility bills SUCK! Why tdo you have to pay such a large deposit on a bill that's only going to be $10 a month?
