In Dec I decided to get a new phone, with a new number and add myself to my husbands phone plan. At the same time my laptop decided to crash so I needed to get a new one of those too. Which was awesome to be have all new electronics...but I also suck with knowing my passwords. And to reset all my old passwords they wanted to send a code to my old phone number. It was an awesome cycle of suckyness. So here I am, finally back to having access to my life lol :)
Last month, I was accidently in a movie :)
I agreed to be a background character in restaurant scene, but ended up getting lines. I don't even know what the movie is called lol, or what its about. So that's exciting.
So, I decided to audition for acting roles. I ended up getting to do a voice in a an Anime. Again I have no idea what it is, but they did pay me and it was like 15min of work. They made it sound like there would be more work, in my contract it says "per episode" which to mean meant more than one recording id be doing, but I haven't heard from them since.
And now I was cast for a very small roll in another movie. I will be playing a psychologist. For those who don't know; I am a psychologist in real live. So I guess my degree is finally paying off lol.
So now, my brain is trying to figure some things out: after being cast, and after signing contracts I was sent this link Stitch-A feature length film | Indiegogo. I already singed a contract that ill be getting paid, but this link is looking for funding for the film. It doesn't look like a large amount (in terms of film making) but it makes me nervous that I singed into a project that might not actually get made...or is this how non-blockbuster films work? I feel like I have been on the set of music videos with bigger budgets than what's being ask for here. So maybe they are just looking for finalization funding? or do you think I some how got myself wrapped up in some scheme? I hope its not that, because I am very excited for this to be real!
