Busy month last month...
Shortly after my last blog,
My guinea pig died, of upper respiratory infection. I took him to the vet, only for him to die about 3 hours later. Then a few days later something FUCKED up happened, and I still cant figure out how really. My sons rabbit's testicles got ripped off. I went out to get him out of his cage to let him run around in the back yard and noticed something hanging from him. Out of the corner of my eye I thought it was a fur ball, but it was actually his testicles and some intestines hanging out of him. So again I rush another pet to the vet. My options were 391$ gets his intestines put back in and gets him neutered with a 40% chance of survival, or 124$ gets him put to sleep. I cried over this, but choose to put him to sleep because 1) I am poor, and 2) I didnt think it was fair to put him through the surgery if he was just going to die painfully.
When I came home from the vet though, I noticed that while we were gone my female rabbit had babies. This was a mystery to me because she is always kept separate from the males; however I caught my 11 year old neighbor playing with the baby rabbits in the garage without asking, so I am assuming that this wasnt her first time. Anyways, there were 4 babies, all which died within the first week. The mom wasnt feeding them and I didnt catch on until too late.
My sons birthday day went well; I was super busy the whole time so I didnt even get to join in on most of the fun. The cake I made...didnt come out so well to say the least. It was super yummy, but I ran out of time so it was pretty plane looking, and the cake stand I had it on was weak in the back so the cake ended up splitting. I kept trying to fill the crack in with frosting, but pretty soon it was like a 2 inch gap. At that point I decided lets just eat it.
I never got a chance to buy my memorial tree, I went looking for the one I decided on, but never found it. I did find it online, but I was told by the time it was delivered it would be too late to plant it, but it was like 95degrees here today, which makes me think it would do just fine. I think not getting this project done has messed with my head a bit. I feel like a failure.
GiJoey was here for 2 weeks. That was..fun? Actually we had a bunch of really good times, but a few arguments that I could have lived without. While he was here I planned on finishing a bunch of stuff in the housewhich didnt end up happening. Its coming along, but what I wanted to do should have only taken us 2 days tops to finish, not 2+ weeks to not quite finish. I have actually gotten more stuff done in one day with him gone than I did in the whole 2 weeks he was here.
Here are some pix from the past few weeksnotice Im not in any of them

Don't let not getting the tree planted weigh you down. Plan it out for spring, and have a nice ceremony to coincide with the rebirth of life around you. It seems appropriate I think.
And anything Spider-Man rules. Period
