Today was quite the adventure.
I have been waiting for this day for a few weeks now; it was I day I both feared and begged for. I planned on leaving my kids (which is a very rare event, which is why I feared today lol) for a much needed break, and head out to attempt a new set with my sister in law (a.k.a the love of my life lol). Things actually were going pretty well. We were on a time crunch because we couldnt head out until her middle child left for school at noon, plus she had to be back home to great the kids at the bus stop at 330. Or destination was about 45 min from where we live. We got there just as planned and shot the set in a timely matter.
It was a littled rushed, and now that i have the pictures uploaded on my computer I am a little disapointed in them. I think no matter how much they get photoshopped they will still be unusable.
here is sneak peak though.
as you can see, there is a ton of fixxing needed to be done on it, and this is one of the better pictures.
So anyways; we head out at 215...or so we think. My van gets stuck in some super soft dirt, and I just spun out for while. We tried to dig our way out, and put things under the tires, but that didnt help at all. So I called road side assistance. We were out in the middle of nowhere so my phone kept dopping the call. Also, my sis-n-law had to call my brother to leave his work early so he could be home to get the kids, plus she had to call into work and say she couldnt make it ( I owe her big time!)
So while we waited a lady ( and her son and 2 dogs) on a 4 wheeler came and talked to us, they werent much help but were very nice. She did point out to us though that we were on privet property, she didnt say it bitchy though just wanted to let us know because she said the owner is kinda a jerk (but he was out of town). Then she left and we waited some more.

and finally they showed up
which to us meant more time to be dorks.

then I got the bill...which i payed right away
and finally we are on our way.
So not that today wasnt fun, because it was, and I got to be with the coolest person on the planet, but I really hope I can fix my set enough for me to submitt it to SG...
