I am getting nervous. I know, it sounds so lame.
I have been planning this trip up to the Seattle area for a while nowbasically ever since my last visit there. Things just arent looking optimistic for me though. Seems like there are all these obstacles getting in my way, and I am not sure if they are warning signs telling me not to go, or if they are challenges telling me that I will be rewarded if I can make it.
I never made it to pick up my van last week. Well basically because of this.
Yep. I was bitten by a brown recluse spider and was out of commission for a few days. I went to the doctor just because I thought the bite looked ugly. But it didnt hurt, it didnt itch, I felt fine. I think that was my mistake. I shouldnt have gone in. I am not a big believer in medicine in the first place, but I just wanted to go in because it was something I didnt really know how to control. Anyways, I went in the doctor looked at it for like a split second, wrote me a prescription, and sent me on my way. About 2 hours later, my lungs quit working do to an allergy of the medication. Thank God my brother was at my house. He rushed my back to the ER. I had a wicked high fever, my eyes were bright red, and I could hardly walk. Ahh good times I tell you. I hate letting my kids see my cry. They put me on a breathing treatment and a few IVs. Which left my arm looking like this.
Then they sent me home. Where for the next 3 or 4 days I puked my guts out. I asked my sons father if he could take a few days off of work so that he could help me outI guess that was too much to ask. So during those days my 1 and 3 year old were basically on their own. I couldnt even walk or stand for more then a few minutes at a time, so my kids didnt really eat during those days. Just what ever junk food they could reach in the pantry. And I learned that my son knows how to poor himself a glass (sippy cup) of milk.
Anyways so I am planning on driving to New Mexico this week to pick up my van, only my friend might have to work this weekend, so he wont be able to meet me. Which means; no van again.
If I dont have my new beautiful van before my trip to seattle its not really that big of deal, other than it would make my 12 hour drive a lot easier.
There are other issues at the moment, but I dont really feel like complaining lol.
I got this kick ass slip-n-slide for my kidswho are afraid to play with itlong story short, I am very sore lol. I cant remember the last time I had that much fun.
Oh also, not that I really expect to win this, but please go here and vote for me
