I beat a game of mine today, Metal Gear Solid 2, and this series of games has a bit of a rep for some really weird ideas. For example: It doesn't matter what if your memories are real ro fake, they still shape who you are. Thats a neat idea, so it doesn't matter if your memory is from a halucination, or hypnotism, or even just self made, it still has the effect of a true memory. I know it came from a game, but think about it...
If you remember something, and that memory affects how you act now. Does it really matter if you find out in a year that a hypnotist put in you. Just something to think about.
Just had a random thought, How do you really know if you have the freedom of choice? Hear me out on this. If you can't go back in time and try the other choice of an option, turn left instead of right for example, how can you really know if you indeed could have turn left in the first place? I know, I get odd thoughts at times.
