Where to start.........
1. Hubby is "scheduled" to be home sometime in November. I am really excited to see him, but being the seasoned army wife that I am , I should know not to hold my breath. Still its really hard when you haven't seen your loved one for a year to not get excited. At least it gives me something to hold on to.
2. My boys are wonderful. They are giving me grey hair, but I enjoy every minute of them. I also enjoy the very few moments I get to spend away from them. Daddy really needs to come home, Mommy needs a break! My oldest son turned four recently. I can't believe it, when I look back it seems to have passed in the blink of an eye, athough I do recall the days and nights that seemed would never end. My youngest son is alomst eight months old, again time has gone so fast since he has born. On the other hand when I think of my husband being in Iraq it seems like it has been sooooo long, yet he left right after the baby was born. Wierd how time plays those tricks on us itsn't it?
3. I have been keeping a pretty good schedule as a doula. One thing there is never a shortage of on a Military Base is pregnant women. I usually end up doing one birht every four to five weeks. I haven't started charging for my services yet as I want to get more experience under my belt. After the start of the new year I am gonna start charging a fee. I know that I will have a sliding fee based on income but I havent set the actual numbers yet.
4. I am currently planning a vacation to Victoria, B.C. I am plannign on going in the begining of December. I am really excited. I would love to go back to the Netherlands but my budget doesn't really allow for that. I have been doing research and Ihave found that there are some really nice cafes in Victoria, and it is alot cheaper. I love going where marijuana is an accepted for of relaxation, just as beer. I can't wait!
Well thats good for now. I have kids to take care!
