Ever have one of those perfect days ?

You know the kind...
where everything works like clockwork;
where everything you touch turns to gold;
where everyone is just so cool and friendly to you;
where every action is an act of unbridled success;
where the only challenge, is keeping up with the sheer magic of it all...
Ever have days like that ?

Yeah ?

So have I.
But today... today was not one of them.

Hmmm....
no worries... ebb and flow.
The balance is maintained.


On a completely different track...

I'm really happy to be back here at SG.
I am taken back a little, by the very warm reception I've received.
Almost everyone I care about here, has dropped by to say hi...
some comments, and a flurry of PMs, and even bunches of emails.
Made a alot of new friends here as well... most within the past week.

It makes me feel welcomed back to the site.
Especially to you "old friends," thank you...
you can't know what that means to me.

It's weird...
with the book done, and my triumphant return to SG,
my life seems somehow re-aligned.
Strange huh ?

But I've spending most of my time playing here,
since I got back online... I need to start the search for a publisher.
Got a list, and some suggestions to work from... gotta get to it.
I'm on a race against time... on several fronts.
No, I don't wish to elaborate.

Got a new flute last week.
A bamboo flute, that's similar to the one,
a Lama gave me when I was last in Tibet.
The one that was lost in the Himalayan cave-in,
I described in the blog about that whole adventure.

It is the richest sounding instrument I've ever played.
But its different in many ways from other flutes I've played.
Gonna have to spend alot of time with it, if I want to master it.

Also need to start shooting photos again.
I haven't picked up my camera in over a year,
because of my obsession with this book.
I miss it... I crave it.
