Today is a huge step forward in my baby making skills. He has hiccups! He hates them as much as his daddy does apparently, and started kicking his legs out and stretching out. Apparently he has them again as im typing this. Ginger ale gives him hiccups! He's so strong, I can't even believe it. He's measuring ahead of schedule, which means he's gonna be big (like the men in my family) and that he's being properly fed. =) GO ME!
Well, I'm 20 weeks now, which is the halfway mark to him being here live in and in the flesh (and outside of mine!)
He's quite handsome already, and I'm really excited to see how red his hair will be. hahaha.
Last night I had a run in with my sciatic nerve that basically ended in my being wheeled out of work unable to walk or stand upright. Patrick had to come pick me up and then help me stretch my legs out while I laid on the bedroom floor crying. It's really uncomfortable. Still is.
Anyway, here's some pictures of him now, looking super handsome, and more baby like than ever before! He was measuring in at 11ounces already and this was a week ago. So he's already gained a few oz's since then. They grow SO fast.
Heres our little man.
sucking his thumb.
Just hanging out...
I think he looks like his dad here...
awww
my tummy on friday. Growing everyday.
Patrick marvels at it all the time. He stops, and rubs it and talks to our boy, and sings to him (we both do). His mind is blown that we made a person. MINE IS TOO. When he gets all tipsy he starts telling all our friends how "his sperm did this" and smiles all big. He's going to be such a great father, and I am loving watching him getting excited, and talking about baby stuff and ultrasounds, and pregnancy facts. He researches everything, and reads about where we're at, and what the babies doing.. He can feel him moving and kicking. The baby is almost 11 and a half inches long now. He will double in size almost before he's born just in length. It's truly a miracle. I am so one of those people now who just marvels at the idea of being a mother, and my baby and my family is all I can think about it. It feels like the most important job I've ever had, the most important thing I've ever done. Bringing this baby into our little family, we love each other so much, and truly enjoy being together.. he will have the benefit of happy parents. I never got that, so I look forward to seeing the kind of man we can raise. He will have so much love, it's not even something I can wrap my head around. He is our little angel. We love him so much already!!!!
Again, here's our registry information, and as previously mentioned we absolutely do not expect anything, just sharing it for our friends and extended family on here!
