at the ONI Gallery near Chinatown, Boston MA

Local Idea Council, a local nonprofit design collective, will transform various entryways stairwells and rooms of the Oni for a one night psychedelic romp.... Bruce Bemis (most recently exhibited at the Decordova Museum) will work the 5th floor with his wrap around flower loop projections.....
Featured performances include:
Effervescent bodies will be painted in the Happening-mode and ANIMAL SKINS mode by *Amatul Hannan* (as seen on HBO Real Sex!) An interactive and contemporary Valerie Solanas comes back to life inside dragqueen *Ben McCoy*, a musical homage to the 60s girl groups ("Sally Go Round the Roses" "Walking in the Sand") includes the beat Poetry of *Diane Di Prima* by Emerson Lyrics Inc, Spontaneous songs and dances all night by *Nudity Vice Squad*, a danceable sound collage looping in 60's sounds by *DJ Flack* local DJ triphopper (Tuesday night Resident at The Phoenix Landing in Central Sq.,Cambridge) The delicate digital movies of *Suara Welitoff* (*recent recipient of the MFAs Morgan Prize)
For those who need to space out, there will also be a reflective installation and a rocked out baton performance by Ms. Dominica aka *Laurel The Baton Twirler* Finally, the grand host of the event *MC Djandy* with the help of others, will stage a multi-saturated media salute to the Elvis '68 Comeback Special! DONT MISS THIS BOSTON "HAPPENING"
