OK, so I haven't updated in a while!
Went away over Easter, scout activity Hoadley. The stunt we ran, 'Shit I've Been kidnapped By a Colombian Druglord' was fairly successful. Unfortunately, Wombat State Park was about the wettest place in Victoria. Which is all good when you are warm in a tent with a nice boy, but for the times when you aren't... It's always a toss up between getting wet but being warm around the fire, or sitting dry under the eating shelter but cold. Thank God for decent raincoats, although i really, really think I should get a nice Goretex jacket. Those things are awesome. I do like rain though. It's nice to lie on the trampoline in the rain and watch it fall on you, or go for nice walks with my big black umbrella (i love my umbrella) but it kind of dulls the urge to get intoxicated...of course, that didnt stop me. Never! So we had four nights of drinking and by the end of it, my mouth felt like it had been scoured with one of those scratchy metal scoury ball things. Still! My lovely new tent was a big success, the only tent that didnt leak, hoorah! It was so huge. Could have slept 8 people easily, but i'm glad it was just me and Adam.
MAnaged to get almost every car bogged at least once! Mel bogged hers three times in the space of 100m. The four-wheel-drive rescuing her also got bogged - the roads were really, really bad. Cars were a big issue, lots of trouble. But all in all, heaps of fun, dressed up all army and no one has a good photo of me! I was devastated, because army is boring but i thought i looked pretty good. Ah well. I think someone has pretty photos of me twirling, so that's alright. And Adam looked mighty fine as a drug lord. Nice change from his usual too-trendy-for-my-liking hairdresser clothes. But oh well. It's not his clothes i'm dating/sleeping with thank god. He does know not to wear pink with me though, which is a start.
Big weekend, lots of fun, Adam bought me lots and lots of chocolate which is always appreciated...i like chocolate too much. Way too much.
Anyway, I should stop writing this and go see him. More exciting than helping dress my little sister up as Columbia from Rocky Horror... she looks too good in the outfit which is a worry seeing as she's fifteen! She has an 18th tomorrow night, so I'm sure my parents are freaking out seeing her in her costume.
