Hmm...A lot has happened in the last week and very little at the same time. Last Thursday i took Adam to the Hifi Bar to see the suicidegirls show, it was awesome. I really enjoyed it and I am sure that he did too. He said he did, and that's what counts!
On Saturday I had yet another 21st, thankfully didnt have to make a speech this time, so spent the evening getting pleasantly drunk, ok very drunk, but all was good in the morning so it doesnt matter!
On Monday I bought a tent, very exciting, I actually was ridiculously overexcited about it. And it's so pretty, very big. I also had to buy a new air mattress and stuff, a nice big queen one. I figured it was about time to get stuff for standing camps rather than hiking, seeing as i never get around to hiking any more. And i'd never needed my own tent because Meg and I would share, and then my (ex)boyfriend had a tent and all that jazz, and now Meg has her own for her and Lucas, and neither Adam nor I had a tent, so hoorah, now i do and it's oh-so-pretty.
Anyway, going away over Easter on a scout event called Hoadley, the Venturers (age 14-18) hike and we (rovers,
18-26) run activities for them, camp and drink at night and do all sorts of stupid things. Our activity is 'Shit I've Been Kidnapped by a Colombian Druglord' and so most of us are in army gear, camo and khaki so I had to trod on down to Savers, my saviour in regards to last minute costumes and other stuff and find stuff there. Nothing camo at all, so im all in khaki, but I also bought toy guns and grenades and I'm going to get an oh-so-sexy disguise moustache and maybe sideburns to wear for about half han hour before I get sick of them. So it shall be fun. I shall enjoy myself.
The other exciting thing was that I bought Harry Potter 4 on dvd, and also Anne Bishop's latest book Sebastian. READ IT!! So good, I couldnt put it down. Loved it, and want the next one NOW. But I'm reading the second book in Ian Irvine's first quartet, cant remember what it is called but it is good.
Signing off, need to go to uni tomorrow and have lots of (non related) reading to do.
