Just on line doing some research for pricing and products to use in my spa. I know for sure i am going with Beauty Without Cruelty as my skin care products but i am having troubles finding makeup. If anyone has any affordable suggestions let me know! I am not sure how to represent a company, like using the makeup and selling it too so that I get a discount to use it. That makes it more affordable for me and my clients.
So excited about going pink! When I saw my set on the front page when I came to the sight this morning I flipped out a little bit. Thanks so much to everyone that voted! I really can't thank all of you enough.
I have also come across a problem this week. I have had a trip planned with my parents and some family friends for almost a year now to go to Paris for about three days and then on to Africa for a week and a half. I have been to Africa before so I guess it seems like 'well, checked that off my list". I absolutely loved it and would love to go back, it really stays with you once you have been. Problem being I am opening my spa June 1'st and the trip is planned for July 14'th so of course I can take those two weeks off and i have budgeted to be able to pay the rent for that month but if something were to happen and I had to use the money for something else I might lose my business. Not to mention it is just generally bad business to say 'Hey I am open come get your services done here!!!......ohhh just not for the next two weeks, sorry." And I am not sure what happens to the miles/money my parents spent on the plane tickets. I guess i will just have to wait until it gets closer to time to figure it out. Most people think it would be wrong for me to leave and I really feel the same. Plus without making any money for those two weeks I will really be broke when i get back. Any advice?

Good luck with it. I hope you make loads of money, and have fun doing it.
The only caveat I'd have is if your parents are backing you in any way. If they are, I'd go and postpone the opening until your return; if they're expecting you to pay your way or carry expenses that are hard for you right now in order to travel with them, then I'd tell them the whole situation, offering the postponement (again, only if they're investing or otherwise financially supporting you), and let THEM make the decision. After they do so, you can still reject it; after all if they make an unreasonable decision about you, their reaction to your reasonable actions will be out of balance, no matter whether it's in relation to your original rejection of their plans, or subsequent rejection of their decision... if that makes sense!
