I'm home from the sleep study, which was no fun.
First it takes about an hour to get all the electrodes wired to your head and body, then it's like "ok, go to sleep, oh but first heres an oxygen tube you have to wear in your nose so we can measure your exhales, and I'm sorry the room is 80 degrees (fahrenheit).
So, an hour and a half later after tossing and turning I finally get to sleep. I'm woken up a few hours later, to have the oxygen tube removed and replace it with the CPAP machine mask, which forces air down your nostrels and keeps your airways pressurized.
End result, once the CPAP was on I didn't toss and turn, and I never stopped breathing (which is why I was there in the first place).
I'm pretty sure my Pulmonary specialist is going to buy one of those machines for me now.
