I went to the "They might be Giants" concert today at the Experience Music Projects "sky church".
What an awsome place to see a show! good air quality, and very intimate, and great lights.
The really really great part about the show was that at 5'6" I was one of the tallest people there... oh wait, I'm also one of the oldest people there... why are there so many kids here?
Did you know TMBG have a childrens album and book out? Well I had heard about it, but did you know that when they do two sets, the first one of the day is for families where they do all the childrens songs and have a puppet show?
Well thanks to my mistake, you all know now.
In truth is was still a lot of fun, they stuck around for pictures and autographes and such, plus they did throw me a bone by singing a couple of adults songs like... New York, Istanbul, Particle man, and Dr. Worm. Oh, and a monkey puppet sang "The Monkee's" Theme.
