My goals for this year.... Not resolutions...just goals.

1. Meet Frankie Manning

2. Compete in a lindy Hop competition

3. Submit a photo project to the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival in Jan of '10 for consideration. I have some amazing idea's...super secret smile

4. Brush up on my rope skills, (it's been almost a year since I did a suspension)

That's pretty much it for goals.

Salt lake city is going to be my new home next year. My first day at work with be the 19th of January.

Where'd you end up finding living, if I may ask? I just lived pretty much right downtown when I was there, around 400 E 300 S, but there were some cute areas in that city.

So I'm moving. My employer has given me three locations to choose from Chandler AZ, SLC UT, or Albuquerque NM.

I'm about 90% certian Utah is where I'm heading.

Chandler is a distant 10%

Noticed your post in the SLC group. Were those my three choices, I have to admit that I don't know much at all about Albuquerque, but I was in Salt Lake for work for about eight months and it was a nice city. Apartments are cheap and easy to find, I didn't think the snow was all that bad in the winter (it was more the heat in the summer that drove me crazy), and it really is gorgeous there. I didn't get to do as much exploring as I'd have liked, but even still, it was lovely. It doesn't take much driving at all to get outside the city to some really pretty areas. And if you get a chance, take the drive west on I-80 through the salt flats to Nevada. It's the strangest landscape I think I've ever seen in person.

Woot! I'm on vacation. I'm going to be at the Masters of Lindy Hop and Tap event in Seattle, meeting and taking classes from some of the legends of swing and jazz dance.

Should be a killer week.

I stumbled upon your page and am so sorry to see that you're mother is gone. It sounds like you've found a way to honor her that means a lot to you and your father. I find it helps to keep one dresser with photos and momentos of my loved ones who are no longer in human form, to see them and think loving thoughts.
