Car died again. At this point, I think it would just be easier to move in with my boyfriend since he already is providing me with access to food, driving-ness and the internet. I'm seriously indebited to this guy - how did I end up so lucky? The guy I was screwing before him, as hot as he was and as much as I was...

It's cool that you have loving mom, I know a lot of people who aren't so lucky. My mom is generous and helpfull to if a little over-protective. Unfortunately, my Dad died when I was twelve and I still miss him. He used to read whole novels to me and it's one of the best memories of my childhood. My step dad is cool but he's no replacement.

Seems like you have a def keeper. Things will come together eventually. When is the Japan trip?
Hello, fair and loyal readers! Well, maybe not fair or loyal - I know you're only reading this cause you got tired of looking at porn for the next 30 seconds - but you're reading so hello.
Where have I been? Good fucking question. Dying, pretty much. Things have been going not-so-swell for me with the amusing exception of Things Having To Do With Boys...

Sounds like you are having a very eventful summer. Hopefully things will start looking up... Hell its not even officially summer yet is it? I don't think it is. So your summer still has a great opportunity to be the best one ever... which in any case may not be the best one ever next year that may be the case and so on and so forth. Either way I think you catch my drift. Hope things get better for you. The whole convulsions thing is never cool... unless it was the previously stated with it wasn't hehehe.
So I've been posting a lot here. You'll probably be hearing a lot more from me because yesterday, my car died. Pretty sure the alternator crapped out on me. My friend from Japanese class, not exactly the brightest in the box, didn't understand why this was such a problem. First he tried to tell me that the alternator is what keeps my car running so...

Cool Tattoo!

Acctually, when your altenator goes out, it can cause your car to die too. As in, stop running while its already turned on. It happened to one of my friends driving home from work one night not too long ago.
The day after I posted that it was very hot, it became very unhot. And rainy. I had to go out a lot on Tuesday so I spent most of my day some semblance of soaked. And it sucked cause it made my hair all wavy (like it is naturally - I straighten it when I blowdry it.) This isn't a problem, except that my...

It totally freaks me out when those crazy people stand out side the UNO student center and shout at people. I think it might be the same guy with the cross.
mystic5523:
Man I had tottally forgotten about the dude with the cross, it's been way too long since I've visited my friends in Lincoln. I had forgotten how much I loved the crazies when going to school there acouple of years ago.
Ugh. It's hot out. Not that I mind because it's definitely better than the -40 wind chills we sometimes get in the winter but the heat always makes me feel gross and tired.
Sometimes I amuse myself. For example, today I came home from my first round of classes around 1 pm. Ate lunch, went back to class, then came home again (frustrated cause I...

Seem like some ups and downs. But over all ups. Glad to hear it. You really should post more often. (Like I have room to talk)

Being lazy is fun. Good luck on your paper!
Added pictures so my adoring fans (ha ha) can see what I look like in my various incarnations. Looking at old pics make me really want my eyebrow ring back. I have a barbell in it right now for security reasons - my ring just got bumped around so much that it never really properly healed. And as soon as it would, something would jar...

I really like the first and second pictures in the folder. You have nice eyes.
alz:
Thanks. (My eyes are probably my favorite facial body part. I play them up whenever I can. Then again, I haaaaate my teeth so I don't want people looking at my lips.)
Yesterday, my work went down the shitter. Imagine 10-15 people in a room the size of your living room, all trying to yell at or over each other. Things were going badly. I would venture to guess that if the client (the people who sponsor our studies) were in the room last night, they would've pulled the study and gone elsewhere. It was a MESS....

Ugh. This week has been a very good week to me so far except I have this awful cold that made me lose my voice intermittently. Now it's moved into my sinuses and I'm all sorts of icky. I finally broke down and took some dayquil today, but it has dextro-whatever, better known as the drug in cold medicine that gets you high. Sometimes I...

Merry Christmas and all that. Or Easter. You know, whatever. I'm an atheist so today is no big deal for me, though my family is traditionally Lutheran. We do all the family-type things and occasionally my mom can manage to drag my sisters to church. (I staunchly refuse on the grounds that it's blasphemous. And I burst into flames when I walk into churches, which...

So yeah. What've I been up to? Not a whole lot, really. It's crunch time for me at school and instead of doing anything to help it along, I've mostly just been procrastinating. Sleeping. Looking at porn. Thinking about moving. It doesn't help that work has been superbusy and are being dickheads about scheduling. It's Thursday, right? We don't know who works on Sunday yet....

It's cool that you are putting together a sex ed group. I'd go if I could find time to drive to Lincoln.
alz:
It's a thing through UNL, so you couldn't join anyway. And it's not MINE, per se, I'm just an active member of it. Well, there's only 10 of us, so we all are pretty active. But we do cool shit like run a free HIV test site in the health center (I got tested last week there, got my results back today telling me that I'm not infected, yay) and give presentations on stuff like the million different types of contraceptives and the varying STIs. And we sponsor a lot of stuff, like last spring we had HIV+ speakers come in and talk, this last fall we had kids from Camp Kindle, which is a camp for children with HIV or are affected by HIV (so if their mom has it or whatever). Earlier this spring we had some slam poets come in and slam about AIDS. And that's not even counting all the stuff we do for World AIDS Day, African American AIDS Awareness Day, Latino AIDS Awareness Day, Dia de los Muertos, spring break fair, um... and those are just the big ones.
I really love it, though. Can ya tell from the way I ramble on? Amusingly enough, one of my planned pieces of ink is a red ribbon on my wrist for AIDS awareness. But I'm going to wait until World AIDS Day this year to do it.
