I'm still alive! Barely though - we had one hell of a storm rip through here earlier. No tornado, thankfully, but 60-80 mph winds that brought down plenty of tree parts. Mostly I've just been working a lot, and I mean A LOT. For example, today I put in about 13 hours. That is a one followed by a three. I was there at 5:45 am, and got out a little after 6:30 pm, and would've stayed later had my huge fear of tornadoes not made me rush home to be with my cats just in case. It's sweet for the paycheck but wow my social life has collapsed. I went out for a little bit on Friday but other than that, when I do 'go out' it's just the boy and I bumming at his house. Which is fine, and it's way cheaper than going to the bars. But I think we'll try to go out tomorrow night just for a change of pace.
Other than that? Uh... preparing for Japan trip, sort of. More mentally than physically, though about a week before I leave I'll want to pack up all my stuff. Which is impossible since I need to use pretty much everything I'll be taking. Whoops.
That's all for me, for now. Just lots of work. But I'm done with that in two weeks - we'll see how the Idaho trip goes.

_kungfoo_:
That storm was an asshole! I heard the sirens going off about two hours before I usually get up (I work nights). It's hard enough sleeping during the day without inconsiderate weather patterns making a ruckus.
