Hey, kids! Not much goin on here, just a minor life update.
Sexual situation written about in previous post was resolved without issue. Yay. I like teh c0x.
Still workin workin workin oh and working some more. I went in for a few extra hours today to help set up for a study we have coming in, but the guy who was gonna tell me what needed to be done and so on wasn't there, but had told the head guy he'd be back in a bit. So I waited. And waited. And waited. And waited more... after 2 hours, he didn't show. Not like I care - nothing really was going on anyhow so I just wasted a few hours of my life hanging out with my co-workers. I really need to remember to slow down my speech patterns though, cause I was asked at least 3 times today to slow the fuck down.
I get excited about things!
Other than that, total boring days. I went shopping today for some pre-Japan stuff, dropped $50. Tomorrow I plan on buying some new shoes so that they'll be good and broken in by the time I leave. I went to the library and got me some learning books - of particular interest, Sexual Behavior in the Human Female. Some people might find it dry (and I skipped most of the first few chapters on their process of selection/interviewing/all the little discrepancies, etc - I've seen the movie Kinsey and the process is outlined in it very well) but to me, it's fascinating. All sorts of facts and tidbits that talk about the differences between males and females, and from group to group of women based on age, socioeconomic status, education, religion, etc. Definitely interesting, at least to me.
For now I'm mostly just bumming around waiting for the boy to get home, as he has band practice tonight since they'll be playing a show at Knickerbocker's on Saturday. I think doors are at 6. I'm either gonna go work on my book or, more likely, nap (more/again) cause I got up pretty early for work this morning and didn't come home and sleep for my usual extra 6 hours. Instead, I did all those productive things. Yay me.
